ABOUT ÁLVARO MONTERO

Colombian goalkeeper who launched his senior career with São Caetano in the year 2013. He played for Deportes Tolima from 2018 to 2022 before joining Millonarios. He has also played for the Colombia national team.

He played youth soccer for São Caetano.

He made his senior debut for Colombia in a 2019 friendly against Panama. He has shared family photos on his alvaromontero1 Instagram account, which boasts more than 160,000 followers. He is extremely tall, standing at 6'7".

His full name is Álvaro David Montero Perales. He also has a daughter named Aurora.

He became Fernando Uribe 's teammate upon joining Millonarios.
