Rock and pop singer-songwriter of Serbian and Yugoslavian descent. His two solo albums Bezdan and Pub were both featured in the 1998 book YU 100: The Best albums of Yugoslav Pop and Rock Music.
In 1977, he began his professional singing career in a group called Žetva.
He acted in the 1980s romantic comedy television mini-series Pop Ćira i pop Spira.
He was married and had three children. His wife Olivera was a ballerina and a gymnast.
He released a song called "Duet" in 2015, which was dedicated to his friend Kemal Monteno .
