ABOUT AJ STYLES

American wrestler who became the WWE World Champion in 2016. He was also a three-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion during his time in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from 2002 to 2013. He later signed to WWE's SmackDown brand.

He earned a partial college wrestling scholarship, before eventually enrolling in professional wrestling school.

He became the first TNA-signed wrestler to be named the #1 wrestler on Pro Wrestling Illustrated's PWI 500 list in 2010.

He was born Allen Neal Jones. He has three sons, Ajay, Avery and Albery, and a daughter named Anney with wife Wendy Jones, whom he married in 2000.

He defeated Booker T to claim one of his TNA championships.
