Acelya Akkoyun

ABOUT ACELYA AKKOYUN

Turkish actress and TV presenter who's known for hosting the program Çocuktan Al Haberi. She also appeared in the TV series Doksanlar, Hasret, Ask her yasta, and Saçsaça basbasa.

She grew up playing volleyball since the age of 7. She worked at Istanbul City Theater while studying at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.

Her first TV appearance was on the series Mahallenin Muhtarlari in 1992.

Her parents are İncila Akdeniz and Ejder Akkoyun. She was married to actor Civan Canova from 1998 to 2002. She married Enis Gergel in 2006 and gave birth to her daughter, Alya, in 2009.

She appeared in the 2007 film Hidden Faces starring Berk Hakman .
