Best recognized for being the ex-husband of actress Catherine Bell , whom he met working on the set of Death Becomes Her. He has made three appearances on his ex-wife's show JAG .

In the year 1991, he worked as a production assistant for the movie Stone Cold starring Brian Bosworth .

He is also a writer and producer who is known for his work on The B-Ring, The Ranger, and Death Becomes Her . He stands 6'2" tall.

He and his ex-wife had two children named Gemma and Ronan. He was married to his wife for 17 years, though they would eventually divorce in the year 2011.

He starred alongside David James Elliott and Patrick Labyorteaux in the television series JAG.
