Youngest daughter of Christy Beam who wrote the memoir Miracles From Heaven: A Little Girl, Her Journey to Heaven, and Her Amazing Story of Healing. The book documents Adelynn's sister Annabel Beam 's story surviving a near death experience.

Her sister Annabel was diagnosed with a chronic illness when she was five years old.

Her family's story was made into a feature film by Columbia pictures starring Jennifer Garner in 2016.

She was born to parents Kevin and Christy. She has two older sisters named Annabel and Abigail .

In the Miracles From Heaven film, her character was portrayed by actress Courtney Fansler .
