ABOUT ADOU THIERO

NBA forward that was acquired by the Los Angeles Lakers via a draft-and-swap with the Brooklyn Nets in 2025. Prior to being drafted, he played college basketball at the University of Kentucky and the University of Arkansas . During his final season at Arkansas, he led his team in points and rebounds.

He was a three-sport athlete while at Quaker Valley High School. In addition to basketball, he also played soccer and lacrosse.

When he's not on the court, he loves to travel and go eating. His favorite dish is chicken and shrimp Alfredo.

Although he was born in Salt Lake City, Utah he grew up living with his family in Mali and Pittsburgh primarily. He is one of four siblings.

He was coached by John Calipari while in college.
