ABOUT ADRIEN BRODY
Dramatic actor who won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2003 for his role in The Pianist, becoming the first actor under the age of thirty to win the award. He also played Steven Schoichet in the 2003 film, Dummy. In 2025 he again won an Oscar for Best Actor for his work in The Brutalist .
Raised in Queens, New York, he attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Art. He performed as a child magician under the name The Amazing Adrien.
When he won the Oscar for Best Actor, he kissed Halle Berry on stage, a move that caused controversy.
His father, Elliot Brody, worked as a history professor and his mother, Sylvia Plachy, worked as a photojournalist. He began dating model Lara Leito and he previously dated actress January Jones . In Febuary 2020, he began dating British actress Georgina Chapman .
He won an Academy Award for his role in The Pianist, directed by Roman Polanski .
