ABOUT AENEAS CHIGWEDERE

Zimbabwean politician who served as the Minister of Education, Sports, and Culture from 2001 to 2008. He became the Provincial Governor of Mashonaland East in 2008.

He enrolled at the University of London, College of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, as one of the 25 African students accepted from Zimbabwe.

He created controversy and criticism as minister for suggesting that all students should wear one uniform.

His father was a teacher and also worked on a farm.

He served under president Robert Mugabe .
