ABOUT AJ DYBANTSA

Basketball player and athlete who was rated the number one high school player by ESPN for the 2025 class. He plays for the high school Utah Prep in the small town of Hurricane, Utah as a small forward. He is 6'9" tall.

He played basketball for a few different high schools before transferring to Utah Prep to finish out his high school career. He plans on playing for BYU on an athletic scholarship in the fall of 2025.

At the Nike Peach Jam, as part of the Nike Elite Youth League in 2023, he led the scoring with 25.8 points per game. He also competed at the FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship in Mérida, Mexico, where he represented the United States and won a gold medal at that game.

He is originally from Brockton, Massachusetts. His parents are Ace and Chelsea Dybantsa and he has a younger sister, Jasmyn, who is an accomplished high school volleyball player.

Some other athletes that have been named ESPN's top high school basketball players are Juju Watkins and Jalen Green . Both currently play in the NBA.
