ABOUT AKIRA AMANO

Known best for her popular Reborn! manga series, this Japanese artist also created or contributed to several other mangas, including Petit Petit Rabbit, Shonen Spin, and Psycho-Pass.

She published her first edition of the Reborn! series in 2003 in the Weekly Shonen Jump.

She was ranked number twelve on Nikkei Entertainment's list of popular manga artists.

She was born and raised in Japan's Aichi Prefecture.

She and her contemporary, Eiichiro Oda , both became highly successful Japanese manga artists.
