ABOUT ALAN SIMONS

Former goalkeeper who signed with Port Vale's professional team in 1987. He played one game in the season. He made his team debut in November of that year. He also played during the FA Cup.

He began his career playing for Port Vale's youth team.

He was released by Port Vale at the end of the 1988 season. His Port Vale debut was a 1-1 draw with the Doncaster Rovers.

He was born in Wales.

He worked as Mark Grew 's understudy in 1987.
