ABOUT ALAN WILDER
Former drummer with the electronic band Depeche Mode who created the project Recoil, a trip-hop electronica outfit.
He attended St. Clement Danes Grammar School. His first band was Cloaca, which supported acts including Gary Numan .
He was asked to join The Cure by singer Robert Smith .
He grew up in London and married his second wife, Theresa, in 1992.
He and Dave Gahan were bandmates in Depeche Mode.
