ABOUT ALBENA BAKRATCHEVA

Philosopher best known for her work on the theory of American Transcendentalism.

She obtained her Master's in dual languages, English and Bulgarian, from St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia.

She received a higher doctorate for her dissertation on The Artistic Discourse of American Transcendentalism in 2007.

Her parents were residing in Sofia when she was born.

She and former ruler of Bulgaria Ferdinandi Ofbulgaria were both born in Sofia.
