ABOUT ALDRICH AMES
Traitor to America who worked at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as a counterintelligence officer and analyst, but was spying for the Soviet Union and Russia.
He first started at the CIA as a low-ranking records analyst during summers while he was in school. His first full time position there was a clerical position.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.
He met Nancy Segebarth at the Career Trainee Program and later married her. When distance stood between them, he engaged in extramarital affairs and they later divorced.
He was portrayed by Timothy Hutton in the 1998 film Aldrich Ames: Traitor Within.
