ABOUT ALEXANDER KOBLENCS
A Latvian chess master, trainer, and writer who won the Latvian Championship four times.
He grew up in Riga, Latvia and began playing chess in his youth.
He was also the coach of the Soviet Union's chess team.
He never married.
He and Adolf Albin were both chess masters.
