Ali Masimov

ABOUT ALI MASIMOV

Economist who briefly held office as the acting Prime Minister of Azerbaijan in 1993. He was elected to the National Assembly of Azerbaijan in 2005.

He earned a PhD in economics from the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.

He is a member of permanent parliamentary commission on economic problems.

He was raised in the small region of Shaki, Azerbaijan before moving to Baku.

He served as Prime Minister of Azerbaijan under president Abulfaz Elchibey .
