ABOUT ALICE OSEMAN
Author, illustrator, comic artist, and screenwriter who rose to fame after creating the LGBTQ+ Young Adult romance webcomic Heartstopper. She is also known for writing, creating, and executive producing the 2022 Netflix TV show Heartstopper . She has also written four Young Adult novels, Solitaire, Radio Silence, I Was Born for This, and Loveless.
She published her first novel, Solitaire, at 19 years old. In 2016, she graduated with a bachelor's in English Literature from Durham University.
Her webcomic, Heartstopper, was published in physical form by Hachette Children's Group and sold 1 million copies. She has accumulated over 1.9 million followers on her Instagram page.
She has a younger brother named William.
Her TV show Heartstopper stars Kit Connor and Joe Locke as Nick and Charlie.
