ABOUT ALICIA AUSTRIA-MARTINEZ
Filipino who served as an Associate Justice of the Philippine Supreme Court from 2002 to 2009.
She held her first government position as a clerk in 1962.
She was appointed dean of Adamson University after stepping down from the Supreme Court.
She had two sons, Michael and Bryan, with her late husband Daniel T. Martinez.
She resigned as a Justice of the Philippine Supreme Court a year before Noynoy Aquino became the country's president.
