High school basketball star who committed to play college basketball at University of Southern California . He was on the McDonald's All-American team in 2025. He stands six feet, seven inches tall, and weighs just shy of 200 pounds.
His father, former NBA superstar Gilbert Arenas , played the game of basketball long before Alijah and Gilbert has helped to push Alijah to work hard at basketball.
He's very active on Instagram with over 130,000 followers on his alijah0arenas account. He was involved in a serious car accident in 2025 which left him in a medically induced coma. He is a shooting guard who, despite being born in northern California, would eventually be raised in the southern city of Woodland Hills.
His mother is Laura Govan and he has three siblings named Izela, Hamiley and Aloni. He also has a half-sister named Gia.
He played against Cameron Boozer in the McDonald's All-American who is the son of former NBA player Carlos Boozer .
