ABOUT ALJAMAIN STERLING

Bantamweight who rose to widespread fame for his Cage Fury Fighting Championships career between 2011 and 2014. He ended his career there as the CFFC bantamweight champ before signing with the UFC in 2014. His fighting fame has led him to amass over 230,000 followers on X.

He wrestled collegiately for SUNY-Cortland. He finished his career there as a two-time Division III All-American.

He made his UFC debut at UFC 170 in February 2014. He finished 2017 as the UFC's #7 ranked bantamweight.

He grew up with 19 siblings; 14 sisters and 5 brothers.

He first became interested in mixed martial arts upon meeting Jon Jones while both were students at Morrisville State College.
