ABOUT ALLAN BESTWICK

NASCAR sportscaster who worked for ESPN and NBC, and was both a pit reporter and host of NASCAR Countdown from 2008 to 2010.

He worked for his high school radio station at the age of 15.

He made a cameo appearance as himself playing the lead announcer in the movie Herbie: Fully Loaded.

His father raced at Seekonk Speedway.

He and Benny Parsons worked together as part of NBC's NASCAR brodacasting team.
