ABOUT ALLAN MOFFAT

V8 Supercar Hall of Famer known for his multiple wins at events like the Sandown 500 and the Bathurst 500/1000. Following his retirement, he became the owner and manager of Allan Moffat Enterprises and as well as a television racing commentator.

He moved to Australia at age seventeen and got his start racing in a Triumph TR3.

He is one of the first two drivers to have won the The Great Race at Bathurst in both the 1000 kilometer and 500 mile categories.

His son is fellow race car driver James Moffat.

He was the longtime rival of Australian driver Peter Brock .
