Spanish motorcyclist best known for competing in the Moto2 World Championships. He began his professional career in 2018 and in 2022 placed eighth at the championship. He posts POV videos to his TikTok that has over 30,000 followers.

His love for bikes started when he was three years old. He began competing at the Junior level in 2016 and in 2017 placed third overall.

He received Ride of the Year award by Crash MotoGP in 2022. His nickname is El Mago (the magician).

He was born in Madrid, Spain. He has posted pictures of his father to his alonsolopez_21 Instagram account thanking him for his support.

He replaced Enea Bastianini in the Estrella Galicia team.
