Alyja Daphne Santiago

ABOUT ALYJA DAPHNE SANTIAGO

Known simply as Jaja Santiago, she is a professional volleyball player for the Philippine national team. She also played with the PSL All Stars at the 2016 FIVB Club World Championship.

Sports were an early part of her life, as her father was a basketball player. She would begin her volleyball career playing for the National University Bulldogs.

She began her professional volleyball career in 2014 with the PLDT Home Telpad Turbo Boosters. She would go on to play for PSL Manila and Foton Tornadoes.

She is the fourth of five children. Her brother, Axel Leonard Santiago, and sister, Aleona Denise "Dindin" Santiago, were both championship volleyball players.

As a member of the Philippine national team, she has played alongside Alyssa Valdez .
