ABOUT ALYSSA MEES TRAUTZ

Graphic designer, illustrator, Instagram star, and painter whose art has become recognized for its elements inspired by nature, animals, and street art. She is both a Trekell Pro Team Artist and a seasoned art educator, having delivered countless presentations and talks on art throughout her career. Her work has appeared in both domestic and international exhibitions, in Portland, Los Angeles, Italy, Australia, and numerous other locations around the world.

She grew up in an artistic family which included painters, tattoo artists, musicians, and other creatives. During high school, her favorite teacher motivated her to continue painting, cultivating a passion for art within her that continued to grow over time.

She has shared much of her work, as well as educational art videos and tutorials, on her alyssamees Instagram account, where she has acquired more than 90,000 followers to date. Outside of content creation, she has worked as a graphic designer and brand manager.

She and her husband Dave began dating in 2010 and wed in 2015. They went on to welcome a daughter named Addie in 2022.

Her artistic video posts have featured musical pieces by composers and instrumentalists like Yann Tiersen and Philippe Entremont .
