She originally auditioned for the sixth cycle of America's Next Top Model, but wasn't accepted until the following cycle. She was working as a bookstore sales associate when she was chosen for the show.

In 2008, she made her acting debut playing Molly in the film From Within.

She and her twin sister Michelle hail from Anaheim, California.

She and her sister competed against winner CariDee English on the seventh cycle of America's Next Top Model.
