ABOUT AMEER SULTAN

Feature film director best known for his work in the Tamil film industry. He particularly became known for his critically acclaimed films Mounam Pesiyadhe, Raam, and Paruthiveeran.

His first career path was as an entrepreneur after he'd earned a degree in economics. He didn't earn his first film credit, however, until 1999 as an assistant director on Sethu.

An actor as well as a director, he made his major acting debut in his original film Yogi. He then went on to appear in the films Yuddham Sei and Ninaithathu Yaaro.

He was born and raised in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.

In 2013, he wrote and directed the film Aadhi Bhagavan which starred Jayam Ravi .
