ABOUT AMIR WILLIAMS

Basketball player who began playing for the Ohio State University Buckeyes in 2011. Before college, he was a star player at Detroit Country Day High School, where he was a McDonald's All-American.

He came in third in the Michigan Mr. Basketball voting as a high school player.

He shot 60% from the field during his 2013-14 season with the Buckeyes.

His cousin, Darrill Williams, played football at the University of Cincinnati.

He was teammates with Aaron Craft at Ohio State.
