ABOUT ANDREAS STAIER
Harpsichordist, fortepiano soloist, and chamber music performer whose repertoire spanned the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries.
He was a piano student under Kurt Bauer and Erika Haase.
He worked with the ensemble group Musica Antiqua Köln as the harpsichord soloist from 1983 until 1986.
His family was residing in Göttingen when he was born.
He and Edgar Froese both became well-known German multi-instrumentalists.
