Andrej Plenkovic

ABOUT ANDREJ PLENKOVIC

Croatian politician who took over the office of Prime Minister in 2016. Between 2005 and 2010, he was Croatia's deputy ambassador to France.

In 1993, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb.

In 2011, he joined the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ).

He married lawyer Ana Maslać. They have a son named Mario and a daughter named Mila. In 2022, they welcomed their third child, a son named Ivan.

He was designated as Prime Minister by the president at the time, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic .
