ABOUT ANDREW VON OEYEN
Known for his vast repertoire and versatile performance skills both as a soloist and an ensemble member.
He debuted with Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Los Angeles Philharmonic when he was 16.
He appeared on the 2009 PBS telecast of A Capital Fourth where he performed with the National Symphony Orchestra at the U.S. Capitol.
His family encouraged him to start taking lessons when he was only five, leading to his solo orchestral debut at 10.
He was one of Alfred Brendel 's private students.
