ABOUT ANDREW ROSS SORKIN

TV show host and journalist who rose to fame as the host of CNBC's Squawk Box beginning in 2011. He also co-created and served as producer and writer for the Showtime TV series Billions .

He earned a degree in communications from Cornell University in 1999. He worked as an intern for The New York Times his senior year of high school.

His 2010 book Too Big to Fail won the 2010 Gerald Loeb Award, and was adapted into a 2011 film by HBO. He is founder and editor of DealBook, the financial news service published by the New York Times.

He has three children with his wife, Pilar.

The film adaptation of his 2010 book Too Big to Fail was directed by Curtis Hanson .
