ABOUT ANDRZEJ PIKUL
Polish musician whose technical mastery of numerous composers earned him worldwide acclaim.
He graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow where he was a student of Tadeusz Żmudziński.
He recorded the complete piano works of Alberto Ginastera , as well as selections from the works of Karol Szymanowski and Aleksander Tansman.
He was born in Krosno, a town and county in Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland, and the location of the world's first oil well.
His recordings also included the works of fellow Pole Frederic Chopin .
