ABOUT ANDY DAWSON

Scrappy English defender who joined Scunthorpe United in 2013, after 10 seasons with Hull City F.C. He has played on 3 different teams throughout his senior career. He began his managerial career as a caretaker in 2014.

He was promoted to Nottingham Forest's senior squad in 1997, but was never capped for the team.

He was named the Hull City Player of the Year at the end of the 2006-2007 season. He became part of the Academy Coaching Staff for Hull City in 2022.

He was born in Northallerton, England.

His younger brother Michael Dawson became an English Premier League defender.
