ABOUT ANDY NICHOLSON
English musician best known as the original bassist of rock band Arctic Monkeys . He performed on the band's 2006 debut album and departed shortly thereafter. He went on to form Mongrel with Jon McClure of Reverend and The Makers.
He attended Stocksbridge High School in Sheffield.
He was replaced by Nick O'Malley as bassist of Arctic Monkeys. He has expressed support for Labour Party politician Jeremy Corbyn . As a musician, he also plays keyboard, drums and performs vocals. Early on in his music career, he made a name for himself as a DJ.
He is from Sheffield, England.
He and Alex Turner have performed together as bandmates in Arctic Monkeys.
