ABOUT ANGUNNGUAQ MOTZFELDT
Greenlandic singer-songwriter known by his stage name Angu. He is known for his song "Red Lights" which came out on his 2004 self-titled debut album released with Atlantic Music. The album was successful in Denmark and Greenland.
He got his start playing in Greenland youth clubs and played with the band Century Schoolbook. He released a demo of three original songs in 2003 with Atlantic Music.
He was nominated by the Danish music awards for New Act of the Year. His second album, Burning Blue Skies, was released in 2007. He is a photographer.
He was born in Qaqortoq, Greenland. He moved to Denmark in 2007 and later moved back to Greenland. He is based out of Nuuk, Greenland. He is married and has a son named Anori.
