ABOUT ANNABELLE CHVOSTEK

Canadian singer, songwriter and composer popular for her talents in a variety of musical genres including folk, jazz and indie pop. Between 1997 and 2003 she released four albums before joining the band The Wailin' Jennys. She left the band in 2007. She has since continued to write, compose and produce records and collaborate with artists internationally.

As a child, she was a member of the Canadian Opera Company. She studied interdisciplinary fine arts at Concordia University in Montreal.

She played guitar, mandolin, and violin while in the Wailin' Jennys. Her annabellemusic Instagram page features photos of her performing and snapshots from her daily life.

She is of Eastern European descent. Her father was Milan Chvostek, a Canadian television producer. Her mother, Isobel Warren, was a journalist.

At a young age, she performed on television specials with musician Anne Murray .
