Producer known as the daughter of politician Colin Powell and audiologist Alma Powell.
In 1997, she worked as an associate producer on Walt Disney World's 25th Anniversary Party.
She has worked on television specials including Seasons of Change: The African American Athlete.
She and her husband had two children named Abigail and Patrick.
She was the supervising producer on the 2002 film documentary The Cosby Show: A Look Back, about the work of Bill Cosby .
