Antoine Ghonda

ABOUT ANTOINE GHONDA

Foreign minister of the Democratic Republic of Congo from 2003 to 2004.

He received a B.A. degree in International Relations from Florida International University in 1992.

He was elected a seat in the National Assembly, where he represented a district in a Bas-Congo province in 2006.

He was born to a family in Leuven, Belgium and grew up in DR Congo.

He joined the Congolese Liberation Movement, a rebel group led by Jean-Pierre Bemba in 2000.
