ABOUT ANTUN AUGUSTINCIC
Creator of the Peace monument in front of the United Nations building in NYC. He was one of the greatest Croatian sculptors of the 20th century.
He graduated from the Royal Academy of Arts and Crafts in 1924.
He was one of the founders of the Earth Group, an arts collective.
He was born in Klanjec.
He and architect Drago Ibler were members of the Earth Group.
