ABOUT ARMEN NALBANDIAN
Jazz artist associated with such acts as The Armen Nalbandian Trio, Han Bennink, Nasheet Waits, Eric Revis, and Nino Moschella.
His debut album as a leader, simply titled Armen, dropped in March 2006.
He became a well-known humanitarian, raising money for such groups as The United Way, The Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and his own not-for-profit, The Blacksmith Brotherhood.
His family was residing in Manchester, England, when he was born.
He performed two impromptu duet performances at Yoshi's Jazz Club with comedian Dave Chappelle .
