Wife of Martin Luther King III , the elder son of Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King . She has championed nonviolence education and social change issues.
She studied psychology at Emory University .
In February 2021, she was a guest on a special Black History Month episode of the Impact Podcast with John Shegerian.
Her daughter Yolanda Renee King was born on May 25, 2008.
Her daughter was named after Yolanda King , her husband's sister who died in 2007.
