Basketball player famous for his time in the NBA between the years 1967 and 1974. He played for the San Diego Rockets and Boston Celtics. He averaged 5.3 points per game throughout his career.

Before beginning his professional career, he played for Cal Poly Pomona. He averaged 5.3 points per game in his career and won an NBA Championship with Boston in the year 1974. He received his nickname in junior high when someone called out, "hambone" and he turned around.

He played for the San Diego Conquistadors in the American Basketball Association from 1974 to 1975. He played in the guard position.

He was born in Bonham, Texas. He passed from a stroke in the year 2018.

He played alongside Oscar Robertson .
