Tennis player who rose to stardom after helping lead the Belarus Fed Cup team to a second-place finish in 2017, which was considered a massive upset as they were ranked outside the top 75 at the time. At the 2023 Australian Open, she won a major singles title. She won her first two Women's Tennis Association titles in 2018.

She was raised in Minsk, Belarus, and trained at the National Tennis Academy.

She has been ranked as the top women's player in Belarus. Her tennis fame has led her to accumulate more than 1.6 million followers on her sabalenka_aryna Instagram page.

Her father Sergey was a hockey player. In April 2024, she began dating Brazilian businessman Georgios Frangulis.

She defeated Lauren Davis at the 2017 Citi Open.
