ABOUT ASHLEY MERCER

Rose to fame competing on the MTV social experiment and reality show Stranded With a Million Dollars in its inaugural season.

A tomboy and outdoorsy girl growing up, she was skilled hunting with a gun, though she was also comfortable hunting with a bow.

After briefly studying at the University of Kansas, she would go on to work at Amarr Garage Doors.

She grew up in Kansas hunting and fishing with her family.

Some of her other Stranded With a Million Dollars competitors included Eilish Rodriguez and Gina Lam .
