She and Jason met through mutual friends. Then, the couple were engaged in November of 2012.

She has worked as a stylist for TReSs Apothecary and Salon and she runs a food Instagram account thegossipfoodchain.

After she married Wahler in 2013, the couple gave birth to their daughter, Delilah Ray, in August 2017. In June 2021, they welcomed their second child, a son named Wyatt. In October 2024, they announced they were expecting their third child together.

Her husband, Jason Wahler , had previously dated The Hills costar Lauren Conrad long before he and Slack began a relationship.
