ABOUT ASHLEY WARD
Forward who spent much of his professional career playing with team's in England's second division or in the bottom half of the Premier League. He retired in 2005.
He played youth soccer with Cheadle Town before joining Manchester City in 1989. He stayed with them until 1991, but only earned one cap in the process.
Upon retiring, he embarked on a business career focused in property management.
He married reality star Dawn Ward, with whom he has four children.
He was teammates with Paul McGrath while on Derby County.
