ABOUT AUGUST STRADAL
Bohemian pianist who was known for his instrumental expertise and effective teaching techniques.
He studied with Anton Bruckner and arranged the composer's symphonies for solo piano.
He was awarded the Czechoslovak State Award in 1928.
His father was a lawyer. As a member of the town council, he was also involved in local politics.
He was passionate about the work of Franz Liszt , and at one point, he was a student with the legendary composer.
