ABOUT AUSTIN EKELER

Running back who began his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017 after signing as an undrafted free agent. He had a breakout season in 2019 when he compiled over 1,500 yards from scrimmage to go along with 11 touchdowns. In the 2024 offseason, he was traded to the Washington Commanders .

He played collegiate football for Western State Colorado.

During the 2021 season, he scored 20 touchdowns and became the second running back in Chargers history to compile 20 touchdowns, following Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson . He has garnered over 240,000 Instagram followers as a result of his football fame.

He was born to Suzanne Ekeler-Adams. He started dating Melanie Wilking in December 2021.

Both he and Philip Rivers played for the Chargers.
